Chris founded Graingertainment in 2013 and even though he’s the owner, he’s still a DJ himself. He has 8 DJ’s that partner and work under Graingertainment. Here are some tips Chris gave for brides relating to a wedding DJ/music:
Think of your DJ as a host for your wedding reception. They’re doing more than just playing music – they’re also working with your other vendors to stick to the timeline and to keep your whole reception flowing. Especially if you don’t have a wedding planner, they help everything to stay on schedule.
Ask how long they’ve been doing weddings or how many weddings they’ve done (at least 50 shows that they’re established and know what works well). Also, look at their reviews to hear what other brides shared about their experience.
Have at least one phone call to hear their energy and personality before you book.

Choose a DJ who listens to your needs and wants for your wedding. They should be able to provide music that caters to your specific likes as a couple.
