your wedding choices are completely up to you two and should revolve around your relationship. i don’t think any couple should pick things that they don’t relate to or enjoy just because it’s considered cool or trendy. with that said, here are some ideas to include in your wedding if you’re looking for something extra special!
LIVE PAINTER
live painters are so fun! you can decide if you want a live painter for guests favors so each guest or couple has a painted photo of them as a memory or you can have them paint a full scene from your wedding day for a keepsake to hang up in your home.
PHOTOS WITH YOUR DOG
including your dog can be done many ways on your wedding day. you can have them come for photos, they can be part of your ceremony, they can hang out with guests during cocktail hour, or all of the above! there are even wedding pet care companies that will take care of all of the details for you so that you know your dog is being given the best care! those companies are fairy tail pet care and furry ventures pet care.
PERSONALIZED + MONOGRAMMED ITEMS
there are many different places and ways you can use your wedding monogram including bows, napkins, cups, koozies, and other decorations.
AUDIO GUESTBOOK
audio guestbooks have become a new, fun way for your guests to leave you messages instead of writing in a book. they leave an audio message on the phone so you can hear their voice and have a sweet keepsake you can listen to anytime.
MEMORY BOX
memory boxes can be purchased by you before your wedding day or it might be given as a gift to you. several of my brides have brought theirs on their wedding day filled with their details. it’s a sweet way to preserve your details, include in some photos, and have for wedding memories.
LOVED ONES PART OF YOUR CEREMONY
You could have a family member or friend perform your ceremony and marry you two. You also could have different people read something like a handwritten message, bible passage, or wishes to you both.
NOTES FROM KIDS/STUDENTS
If you’re a teacher or you work with kids in some way, have them draw a picture about your wedding or marriage. It’s a cute, funny detail that you can display during cocktail hour or your reception.
WEDDING PLATES
Make special wedding plates for you two at a painting studio. You can include your wedding date, colors, monogram, and any other details you’d like. These can be used during cake cutting or eating dinner.

DJs are great and there are some really fun options for building on the DJ experience during your reception.
