Congratulations Jimmy + Alice!
Their Tampa River Center wedding was pretty close to perfect, even with the crazy Tampa winds. These two have a relationship that is worth so much and they make love look so easy. Everyone who was there to celebrate with them made their wedding day even more special and sweet!
Alice included so many personal details that really made it extra thoughtful and beautiful. she shared this about them: “My earrings were designed by my mom and made from a brooch that belonged to my maternal great grandmother. My beaded purse was my mom’s from her own wedding. I had my blue shoes, but sewn into my dress was also a blue bird; a heart-shaped piece of my older brother’s shirt that he used to love. I had two handkerchiefs: one I received this year from my sweet aunt and one was bought for Jimmy by his grandmother, and was stitched into a bonnet that he wore as an infant. I had it wrapped around my bouquet. My engagement ring was designed by Jimmy, using the center stone from his grandmother’s ring, and honoring the original style. I had our wedding crest embroidered onto linen napkins and our monograms and wedding florals hand painted onto candles for our sweetheart table. Our cake topper was vintage Wedgwood. The escort cards/favors were jars of honey harvested by my mom from their backyard bees.”
jimmy and alice both got ready at the jw marriott tampa with their bridal party and family. they shared a first look at the hotel and then they rode the trolley to plant park for portraits. after couples portraits and bridal party photos, we headed to the tampa river center for their ceremony. It was beautifully set up with a view of the river. Their ceremony included the cutest flower girl, sweet reactions from family and friends, and personal vows. After they were announced as officially married, they were able to celebrate and join cocktail hour. their reception was full of even more personal details and their first dance was choreographed perfectly. The band kept everyone on their feet all night long and then they had a sparkler send off and headed off on the water taxi.
